I developed a production ready e-commerce platform for Mapia as part of my final thesis project.
The project demonstrates full-stack development skills with backend architecture, real-world payment integration, and scalable design. Using the SDLC approach, I planned, designed, and implemented the system to serve Mapia's needs for custom printing orders and to strengthen its digital presence.
BACKGROUND
Mapia aimed to expand its market and stay competitive by launching a modern e-commerce platform.
Mapia, a printing company specializing in customized packaging and merchandise, realized the need to strengthen its digital presence as competitors began adopting e-commerce solutions. The project focused on building a robust system with six key requirements: authentication, product customization, dynamic pricing, multiple address management, transaction history, and secure payment integration.
Following the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), the system was designed and implemented to be scalable, maintainable, and production-ready, ensuring it can support Mapia's growth in the digital market.
